Year Walk is an adventure horror game for iOS devices. It has received many positive reviews and from the messages I’ve received about this game, it really messes with your mind.
A year walk is a pseudo pagan ritual in which people venture into deep, dark forests to catch a glimpse of their future.
The game begins with an unnamed protagonist visiting his lover, Stina. She warns the player about the dangers of year walking, saying that her cousin had died while engaging in the activity.
The player then returns home, and awakens at night to begin his walk. Throughout his walk, the player will encounter and overcome supernatural beings, overcoming them through the completion of puzzles. (Official Website)
Year Walk is fucking TERRIFYING and I recommend it to EVERYONE.
It’s also available on stream and pc
For these who sadly can’t get this game, PewDiePie is doing a walkthrough for it.
Not only is it just wonderful aesthetically speaking, but being able to discover other cultures tales is really refreshing (have some Scandinavian folklore here!)
So yeah, it’s beautiful, clever, original and interesting (…okay, it’s creepy too but it’s still an horror game)
Check it out, guys!

Michele Carragher, the head embroider on Game of Thrones, made this awesome tutorial to show how she created the dragonscale fabric that appears on several of Daenarys’ costumes in S3 and S4.
Ms. Carragher says that the dragonscale fabric was created because “In season 3 the Costume Designer Michele Clapton wanted a Dragonscale like textured embroidery that starts to emerge on three of Daenery’s costumes, which becomes heavier and more pronounced, growing and evolving as the season progresses” (Carragher).
In stages 9-11 of the tutorial we see how the textile evolves from lightly to heavily embellished. This progression is meant to illustrate Daenarys’ personal growth and the growth of her dragons (source).
Don’t care about Game of Thrones but that shit is cool
…Near the village of Braachaat, outside Antwerp, Belgium. The last photo shows a grotto-like cave under the mansion that may have been used as a bar in the past.
I’d move in as is.I feel like they could film Snow White in one of these places (based on the last photo)
I just got a call that my cousin was shot and killed last night. He just turned 17 on August 9th.
Please keep my extended family in your thoughts and prayers.
Today in gym class we were doing major climbing and halfway up this girl freezes and goes “I CAN’T DO IT I CAN’T DO IT”
so some dude yells “MY AUNT SAID DAT AT HER WEDDIN’ BUT SHE MARRIED DAT FINE-ASS DOCTOR AND NOW SHE RICH AS HELL”
the girl did it. truly inspiring.
I should add that it was a shrimpy 5’1 Indian boy nobody had ever heard talk before who was apparently from the deep south.
